Branding is easily managed from the top down on the new platform. The iVvy platform locks certain brand elements in place that meet Rotary brand guidelines, whilst the content is controlled at a local level.
One Rotarian recently used the AFL website as a great comparison each club has its own visual identity, but shares a basic page structure, regardless of which team page you are on. The new Club and District websites will be designed to reflect the local Club and communities they serve. Content will remain local and reflect the culture of local Clubs or Districts, but colours, fonts, contact details, logos and other information that is uniform across Rotary, will be locked in as a style guide and presented in a way that is instantly recognisable, and easy to find across all websites.
There will not be ads, but a member benefits area that offers special discounts to Rotarians from our select corporate partners. AThis will be in line with the RI Global Rewards Program, adhering to their guidelines, with a percentage going to the Rotary Foundation as well as Rotary Australia, that will ensure financial sustainability.
You can still add your own images and content to represent your local Club culture. However, as Rotarians, you are also required to follow the RI brand guidelines. This platform provides an easy way to do that, whilst also keeping the content local.
