Rotary Australia is investing a significant amount of time to provide adequate resources and assistance to ensure that Clubs and Districts can maintain their efforts and focus on their local communities and humanitarian projects, rather than the complexity of independently managing a complex suite of web hosting platforms. Prices can be negotiated much cheaper on an enterprise level meaning more of the fundraising money can go back into the Rotary projects.
We have used feedback from the RI survey of 30,000 members, consulted the new 'Millennial Board' of younger Rotarians under the age of 35 and are using professional Rotarians from the Digital Communications and Online Marketing space to identify and then provide clear solutions to the problems. We feel the solution did not require opinion, but rather expertise that is necessary for a professional, world renowned organisation.
The Millennial Boards are a new initiative from Rotary District 9800 and aims to rejuvenate the membership by engaging Millennials in their own programs and youth recruitment strategies. They are the future of our membership, so their input has been integral to how this Communications Strategy and Website design is presented.
